Important Information Regarding Tech Week Rehearsals:

Please be patient with the running of all rehearsals. This is NOT an exact timeline and is always subject to change as we set lighting, sound, and spacing to make sure the show runs as smooth as possible. Therefore, times are only given as a general guide! We will attempt to keep as close to this as possible.

Not all cast will be required to stay the entire time. Once a dancer is done rehearsing all his/her parts, they will be released by the Artistic Director and will be free to leave.

Important Additional Information
Backstage Crew, Room Monitors & Quick-Change Volunteers:
You are required to attend both of the technical and dress rehearsals to be sure you know exactly what your responsibility is AND so that the dancers know who they should go to for help with their costumes.
IMPORTANT Costume Information:
Your dancer is not allowed to eat or play in costume. IYDT’s costumes are a significant financial investment and should be treated as such. We also have several dancers with severe food allergies. If your dancer has a food allergy, please inform the volunteers who are supervising your dancer each day of the performances. As a general precaution, please refrain from sending your dancer in with any kind of nuts as a snack. Instead, we ask that you provide healthy, nut free, snack items like pretzels, grapes, fish crackers etc. ONLY WATER may be brought into the dressing rooms as a beverage for the dancers.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE SATURDAY PERFORMANCES:
You are responsible for arranging for supervision of your child in-between shows on Saturday. Volunteers in each role may not be the same for both shows and will not be able to chaperone your child. You may pick your child up from the dressing room after the first show and have a bite to eat or team up with another parent to alternate supervision of your dancer(s) between shows. IYDT will not be responsible for supervising children between performances.
